The white grape comes from Italy, Synonyms are Malfiore, Parlano, Uva delle Vecchie and Uva Dolce. The parentage is unknown. The medium to late-ripening vine is almost exclusively in the province of Perugia in the region Umbria grown. The acreage in 2010 was 11 hectares (Kym Anderson ).
