The winery is located in the commune of Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the area of the same name in the southern Rhône valley. Its origins date back to 1934 and it was acquired by Charles Establet in 1958. In the early 1970s, it was taken over by his daughter Cristiane Jeune and her son-in-law Pierre Elie. In 1990 a new cellar was put into operation. Since 2004, the business has been run by Christophe and Isabelle Jeune. The vineyards in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape area comprise 14 hectares of vineyards planted with the red varieties Grenache Noir, Syrah, Cinsaut and Muscardin. Natural viticulture is practised. The fermentation of the different varieties is carried out in steel tanks and oak barrels. The wine matures, sometimes for several months in steel tanks or enamelled containers, as well as over a year in barriques and large oak barrels.

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
