The Domaine Vincent Delaporte et Fils is located in the commune of Chavignol (Cher department) in the Sancerre area of the Loire wine region of France. The commune is known for its cheese Crottin de Chavignol (goat cheese). The farm has been owned by the Delaporte family since the 17th century. Today it is run by Matthieu Delaporte (the grandson of Vincent Delaporte). The vineyards cover 33 hectares of vines in 50 different plots, one third on flint and two thirds on limestone soils. Around 80% of these are south-facing and have excellent exposure. The best-known sites are Les Monts Damnés and Cul de Beaujeu, after which the two premium wines of the house are named. Three quarters of them are planted with Sauvignon Blanc and one quarter with Pinot Noir.

The vineyards are cultivated according to organic criteria, including the renunciation of herbicides. Appropriate measures are taken to reduce yields in order to improve quality. Only physiologically ripe and healthy grapes are harvested by hand. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with the vineyard's own yeasts. The work in the cellar is carried out according to non-invasive rules with as few interventions as possible. The wines are bottled with minimal filtration and low sulphurisation. The white wines are matured in 600 litre tonneaux and 2,000 litre foudres, the red wines in 228 litre barriques.
