The winery is located in the commune of Banyuls-sur-Mer on the Mediterranean Sea in the French region of Roussillon. In 1910, the country doctor Gaston Parcé married into an old wine-growing family, which is considered the foundation of the winery. His son Dr André Parcé established the good reputation of the winery with his wines. He was also mayor of Banyuls-sur-Mer and became known for his opposition as an INAO core member to the upgrading of Château Mouton-Rothschild to Premier Cru. In 1977, the special Banyuls variety "Rimage" (meaning a vintage) was revived here. Today, the estate is run by the third generation, Jean-Michel Parcé. The vineyards cover 25 hectares. The varieties grown are mainly Grenache Blanc, Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre, Roussanne and Syrah. Among others, the AC wines Banyuls (Collita, Doctor Parcé, Hors d'Age vieilli en Sostrera, Mât Blanc, Rimage la Coume) and Collioure (L'Agoulle, Can Réde, Clos du Moulin, Cosprons Levants, Llose) are produced.
