Domaine du Mas Blanc

The estate is located in the commune of Banyuls-sur-Mer on the Mediterranean in the French region Roussillon, In 1910, the country doctor Gaston Parcé married into an old wine-growing family, which is considered the foundation of a winery. His son Dr. André Parcé established the good reputation of the company with his wines. He was also the mayor of Banyuls-sur-Mer and, through his opposition as a core INAO member against the promotion of the Château Mouton-Rothschild known for the premier cru. In 1977 the special Banyuls variant "Rimage" (meaning a vintage) was revived. Today the estate is managed by the third generation of Jean-Michel Parcé. The vineyards cover 25 hectares of vineyards. The varieties Grenache Blanc, Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre, Roussanne and Syrah are mainly cultivated. Among other things, the AC wines Banyuls (Collita, Doctor Parcé, Hors d'Age vieilli en Sostrera, Mât Blanc, Rimage la Coume) and Collioure (L'Agoulle, Can Réde, Clos du Moulin, Cosprons Levants, Llose).
