The winery is located in the commune of Bédarrides in the south-east of the appellation Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the Rhône region. Named after an old signal tower on a hill, the estate was founded in 1898 by Hippolyte Brunier and is now run in the fourth generation of the family by brothers Daniel and Frédéric Brunier. The vineyards cover 70 hectares on the stony La Crau plain, planted with Grenache Noir (65%), Mourvèdre (15%), Syrah (15%), Cinsaut, Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Bourboulenc, Roussanne and others (5%). On average, the vines are over 50 years old. The vines are cultivated in a natural, environmentally friendly manner, with organic fertilization and pest control using pheromones, for example. The vineyards are not irrigated. Special emphasis is placed on healthy grapes by means of selective manual harvesting. The product range includes white and red Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The first wine matures up to 20 months in traditional wooden barrels and is bottled without filtration. The second wine created in 1994 is called "Télégramme". The white wine is partly aged in barriques. Since 1986, the property has included Château de la Roquette, also located in the appellation, with over 30 hectares of vineyards. Since 1998, there has also been a partnership with the friendly family who own the Domaine Les Pallières in the Gigondas appellation.
