The winery is located in the municipality of Obergrabern (Hollabrunn) in the west of the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Weinviertel. The family business has been run by Anna and Hermann Dommaier since 2010. The vineyards cover three hectares of their own land on lime-rich south-western slopes of the Schmidatal valley. They are planted exclusively with white wine varieties. These are the leading variety Grüner Veltliner, as well as Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Gelber Muskateller. The vineyards are cultivated according to the principles of KIP (Controlled Integrated Production) and sustainability. Through minimal use of mineral fertilisers and pesticides as well as year-round cover crop, the natural ecosystem should not be disturbed and the flora and fauna typical of the area should be able to develop freely. The grapes are harvested at optimal physiological ripeness. The processing of the grapes and the vinification are carried out extremely gently according to non-invasive principles in line with the company motto "Less is more" with the aim of producing wines that are typical of their variety and origin. The premium wines include various Weinviertel DAC (Grüner Veltliner).
