The "Weingut EIMERMANN - Domtalhof - GbR Werner und Thore Eimermann" is located in the municipality of Nierstein ( Nierstein area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. It has been family-owned since the 19th century. The farm is managed by Dipl. Ing. Thore Eimermann. The vineyards cover 14 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Heiligenbaum, Ölberg and Pettenthal (Nierstein) on the Rote Hang (Rhine front). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder and Cabernet Dorsa. The grapes are selectively harvested and gently processed. During vinification, great importance is attached to site-specific terroir typicity. The white wines are fermented in stainless steel to preserve the fruity aromas. The red wines mature in large wooden barrels. Premium wines are Riesling Pettenthal trocken and Spätburgunder trocken. The winery is a member of Generation Riesling and Wein vom Roten Hang in Nierstein.
Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
