The white grape variety (also North Carolina 276-108) is an interspecific new breed between Higgins (Yuga x unknown variety) x Dixie (San Jacinto x brilliant ). They are genes from Vitis aestivalis. Vitis labrusca. Vitis lincecumii. Vitis rotundifolia and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid was done in North Carolina in 1959 by CF Williams, CF Nesbitt and VH Underwood. It is used as a wine press table grape used. The variety is cultivated in the Southeast and the Gulf States of the United States.
