Douglas

Wine growing area in eastern South Africa southwest of the city of Kimberley. It is an independent district that does not belong to any region. The vineyards are located on the banks of the Orange River, whose floods provide artificial irrigation due to the dry climate. The most famous winery is also called Douglas.
