The estate is located in the municipality Ockfen-Wawern (Saar area) at the foot of the Bockstein mountain in the German wine-growing region Moselle, Viticulture is documented by the family since 1758. After the death of Hans-Henning Fischer, it has been run by his widow Karin since 1999. The vineyards cover 14.5 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Bockstein (Ockfen) and in sole ownership Mr. Berger (Wawern). They are exclusively planted with the Riesling. In the wine cellar there is a spontaneous fermentation by exclusively natural yeasts. The goal is to preserve the site-specific characteristics. To a large extent, Prädikatsweine be pressed as Spätlese, Cabinet and Auslese. They are exported to USA, Japan, England and Australia. The winery is a member of VDP (Verband deutscher Prädikatsweingüter).
