The winery is located in the municipality of Haschendorf near Neckenmarkt in the Burgenland DAC region of Mittelburgenland. The traditional winery has been family-owned for several generations. Today it is managed by Andreas Draxler. The vineyards cover 17 hectares in the Altes Weingebirge and Preiner Berg vineyards. They are planted with the red wine varieties Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir as well as with the white wine variety Chardonnay. Since 2007, the vineyards have been cultivated according to the certified rules of organic viticulture.

Depending on the type of wine, the wines are matured in steel tanks, in large wooden bar rels or in barriques. According to the philosophy of the house, the special accents of the vineyard, grape variety and vintage are taken into account through careful vine care. In the cellar, a non-invasive principle with as little intervention as possible applies. The premium wines include the red wines "Aenea" (Blaufränkisch - 24 months) and "Florian" (Cabernet Sauvignon, Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Merlot - 14 months) aged in barriques.

The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
