The winery is located in Gevrey-Chambertin in the Burgundian area Côte de Nuits ( Côte d'Or ). It is owned by Claude Dugat. The vineyards cover 3.5 hectares of vines in Grands Crus (Charmes Chambertin, Griotte-Chambertin) and Premiers Crus. It is with Whole cluster fermentation without pure yeast, long mash stands, as well as without filtration vinified. The expansion is basically in new barriques. The red wine Griotte-Chambertin 1993 was from the US wine critic Robert Parker judged with 100 points.
