The red grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Buket (Bouquet) x SV 12-375 (Villard Blanc). Synonyms are Donaugamza and Dunavszka Gümza. Genes of Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera are included. The hybrid was crossed in 1978 in Bulgaria by the breeders Y Ivanov, V. Valchev and P. Ketkov.
