The white grape variety comes from Croatia, Synonyms are Brajdenica, Brajda Vela, Dardanela, Duranija Bijela, Duronija, Martinscica and Supljika. The medium to late ripening vine is very susceptible to real ones mildew and Botrytis, It produces rather low-alcohol white wines, mostly with the variety Malvazija Istarska be blended. The endangered variety is produced in small quantities in Istria-Croatia, as well as under the name Brajdenica Slovenia cultured. In 2010, however, no stock was shown (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
