The letter "e" on the label testifies that it is a calibrated bottle according to the EU standard. This is always indicated in connection with the nominal volume, for example with "e 750 ml" or "0.75 cl e". This designation has been obligatory for all EU member states since 1977. Only the slightest deviations are permitted. See also under Hollow measures.
The Wine lexicon helps me to keep up to date and refresh my knowledge. Thank you for this Lexicon that will never end in terms of topicality! That's what makes it so exciting to come back often.
