The winery "ebner" (historical farm name) is located above the small wine village Atzwang (municipality of Ritten) in the southernmost Eisacktal in the Italian wine-growing area South-Tirol
(Region Trentino-Alto Adige
). A tavern is connected. The business is run by Brigitte and Florian Unterthiner in the third generation of the family. The vineyards cover 4.5 hectares of vineyards on sandy-loamy, calcareous and porphyry soils at 450 to 550 meters above sea level. They are with the white varieties Pinot Blanc, Grüner Veltliner, Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc, and the red varieties Blauburgunder, Vernatsch ( schiava
) and blue Zweigelt planted.
