The winery is located north-east of Bolzano, at the entrance of the Eisacktal, in the Italian wine-growing area South-Tirol
(Region Trentino-Alto Adige
). It has been family owned since 1982 and is managed by Urban Plattner. In 1996 it was started to process and market the grapes and in 2005 a farm-own cellar put into operation. The vineyards at 400 to 500 meters above sea level cover three hectares of vineyards. They are planted with the red varieties Vernatsch (main variety), Pinot Noir, Malvasier ( Frühroter Veltliner
), Merlot and Lagrein, and Sauvignon (Sauvignon Blanc).
