Eden Valley

Major Winegrowing Area (GI) in the state of South Australia in Australia, There are the subregions High Eden and Springton. The climate is cooler and rainier than in the south Barossa Valley, with which the zone Barossa is formed together. The first winery named Pewsey Vale was founded by the Englishman Joseph Gilbert (1800-1881) in 1847. The vineyards cover around 10,000 hectares.
