The winery is located in the municipality of Straß im Straßertale in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Kamptal. It has been managed by Birgit Eichinger since 1992. A newly built farm building with cellar was put into operation in 1994. The vineyards cover 16 hectares in the vineyards Gaisberg, Hasel, Heiligenstein, Lamm, Stangl and Wechselberg. They are 100% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner (60%), Riesling, Chardonnay and Roter Veltliner. The wines are fermented chilled in stainless steel tanks, with special attention paid to the purity of the must before fermentation. Depending on the vintage, Grüner Veltliner is also aged in large wooden barrels. Premium wines are Rieslings and Grüner Veltliner Kamptal DAC or Kamptal DAC Reserve under different vineyard names. About 70,000 bottles of wine are produced annually; about 50% is exported. A special feature is the "wine library", which Birgit Eichinger also calls the "memory of the winery". There, every year on the last weekend in April and the first weekend in May, one can taste the matured wines from magnum bottles. The winery is a member of the two winegrowers' associations 11 Women & Their W ines and, since the 2013 vintage, Traditional Wine Estates Austria.
