The estate is located in the town of Iphofen (Steigerwald / Schwanberger Land area) in the German wine-growing region Franconia
, As early as the 18th century, ancestors cultivated vines and developed wines. The fifth generation of the traditional family business is run by Irmgard and Werner Emmerich. The sixth generation with Silvia, Milan, Heike and Martin is in the starting blocks, so to speak. A new winery with guest rooms was opened on the southern edge of Iphofen in 2000.
