Emperor

The grape variety comes from the United States but it is a species Vitis vinifera, About the origin nothing is known. Synonyms include Emperador, Genova, Genova Rosa, Red Emperador and Red Emperor. The versatile, red-berry vine is called Keltertraube, table grape and for raisins used.
