, It has been family owned for over 300 years. Ursula Emrich-Montigny is responsible for the representation and administration of the business. Since July 2008, Sebastian Schneider and Caroline Montigny have been responsible for viticulture and cellar management. The vineyards cover 11 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers forest, chapel path, fool's cap
and Rosenberg (Bad Kreuznach), as well as Katzenhölle, Nonnengarten and Römerhelde (Planig). They are planted to 60% with the white varieties Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Müller-Thurgau, Scheurebe, Silvaner, Kerner, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer, and 40% with the red varieties Pinot Noir, Blauer Portugieser, Dornfelder, dark fields and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is practiced consistently close to nature, environmentally friendly viticulture with, for example, economical use of spray and fertilizer. Depending on the type, the wines are aged in steel tanks or traditionally in large wooden barrels. Every year around 150,000 bottles of wine are produced. There are also produced brandies (yeast, pomace) and flaschenvergorene sect.
