Ester (grape variety)

The white grape variety is an open-pollinated seedling of Concord. It contains genes from Vitis labrusca and Vitis vinifera. It was selected in the USA in 1889 by Ephraim Wales Bull (1806-1895). The variety is mainly used as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
