The red grape variety is an interspecific new breed between Eger 2 ( Villard Blanc ) x Magaracsi Esemege. Synonyms are Eszter and Royal Esther. They are genes from Vitis berlandieri. Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid was carried out in Hungary in 1969 by the breeder Sandor Szegedi. It is resistant to frost and fungal diseases, The vine is called wine press and table grape used. No stocks were shown in 2010 (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
