single vineyard in the municipality of Walporzheim in the German wine-growing region of . The famous German writer and politician Johann Gottfried Kinkel (1815-1882) described it in 1849 as the "noblest site in the entire Ahr valley". The name is derived from the "standing heat" there in summer. The vineyard covers only 0.7 hectares and is one of the in Germany. It is separated from the neighbouring sites in the west and in the east by high walls. The south-facing, steeply terraced vineyard at 110 to 180 metres above sea level with a slope of up to 60% on greywacke and weathered slate soil is planted exclusively with Pinot Noir. The vineyard is solely owned by the winery.
