Description (also fine-grained, delicate) for the overall impression of a wine in the context of a wine address, which can be meant negatively (e.g. too delicate = inexpressive), neutrally or positively depending on the context. In contrast to a full-bodied wine with a high alcohol content, this wine has a delicate structure. Various components such as alcohol, acidity or tannins are only slightly (delicately) pronounced or recognisable. Related or complementary terms are elegant, fine, light and slender. The opposite of filigree is bulky.
