The white grape variety is a new breed between Verdiso x Riesling Italico ( Riesling ). Synonmye are Cosmo 76 and Incrocio Cosmo 76. The crossing took place in 1976 in Italy by the breeder Italo Cosmo at the institute in Conegliano (Veneto). The medium to late ripening vine is resistant to bunch rot, It is located in the province of Treviso in the region Veneto grown. By the way, with the same parents is also the new breed Italica emerged. In 2010, four hectares of vineyards were recorded (Kym Anderson ).
