The white grape variety is a new breed between Verdiso x Riesling Italico ( Riesling ). Synonmye are Cosmo 76 and Incrocio Cosmo 76. The cross was made in Italy in 1976 by the breeder Italo Cosmo at the institute in Conegliano (Veneto). The medium to late ripening vine is resistant to bunch rot, It is located in the province of Treviso in the region Veneto grown. Incidentally, the same breed is also new breeding Italica emerged. In 2010 four hectares of vineyards were recorded (Kym Anderson ).
