Term for a no longer existing Riede in the community Dürnstein in the Lower Austrian wine region Wachau, The winegrowers' cooperative has the name rights for this Wachau domain that until the 1980s brand wine produced. This also applies to the brands Himmelsstiege and stone's throw, A "Dürnsteiner Flohhaxn" and "Dürnsteiner Katzensprung" were on May 15, 1955 at the banquet in the Belvedere in Wien served on the occasion of the signing of the Austrian State Treaty. These wines were then in a special bottle shape bottled (at that time still 0.7 l). The lower half was cylindrical, the upper half conical with an additional ring bead (see below in the picture on the left). The company now owns the naming rights for “flea knuckles” Morandell from the Huber winery in Traisental can produce a wine (1 l).
