One of the Alsace (Haut-Rhin) sites classified as Grand Cru within the Alsace Grand Cru appellation. The vineyards cover 21 hectares of vineyards on calcareous marl soil in the two communes of Ingersheim and Katzenthal. They are mainly planted with Gewürztraminer, but also Riesling, Muscat Blanc and Pinot Gris. Well-known producers are CV Ingersheim, René Meyer and Bruno Sorg.
