The white grape variety (also Castel 3540) is an interspecific new breed between (Rupestris x Othello ) x Herbemont d'Aurelles ( Herbemont ). They are genes from Vitis labrusca. Vitis riparia and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid was done in France by the breeder Pierre Castel. It is used as a wine grape and document used. In 2010 no stocks were shown.
