Franz Monastery

The "Winzerhof Stift" is located in the municipality of Röschitz south of Retz in the west of the Lower Austrian wine region Weinviertel, It is run by Franz and Regina Stift. The beautiful courtyard of the winegrower's house, which exudes a Mediterranean flair, is also worth mentioning. Wine connoisseurs and music lovers populate them on special occasions, so the annual jazz evenings at the Winzerhof have long made a name for themselves. The popular Austrian television series “Julia” was also shot on the Winzerhof. The vineyards cover seven hectares of vineyards on the southern slopes of the Manhartsberg in the vineyards of Galgenberg, Mühlberg and Reipersberg on primary rock and loess soils.
