The winery is located in the municipality of Zaussenberg in the wine-growing region of Wagram (Lower Austria). The traditional winery is run by Josef and Irene Fritz, the fifth generation of the family to do so. The vineyards cover 12 hectares of vineyards in the Drausatz, Hundsberg, Kobelberg, Liebezellern, Sätzen, Schafberg, Schlossberg and Steinberg vineyards. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Roter Veltliner, Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Blanc, as well as with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards are cultivated according to the rules of organic viticulture. The aim is to achieve a maximum yield of 50 hl/ha through short pruning and thinning. The new press house, with three levels, enables gentle grape processing moved only by gravity. The aim is to produce fruity wines. The white wines are matured in stainless steel tanks, the red wines in large wooden bar rels or in barrique. The premium wines include Grüner Veltliner Himmelreich and Chardonnay Grande Reserve. The winery is a member of the winegrowers' associations Weingüter Wagram and Traditionsweingüter Österreich.
