DOC area for a wide range of red, rosé and white wines in the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The zone completely covers the municipalities of Bagnaria Arsa, Carlino, Castions di Strada, Marano Lagunare, Muzzana del Turgnano, Porpetto, San Giorgio di Nogaro and Torviscosa in the province of Udine. The pure wines are produced from at least 90% of the respective variety. The white wines are Chardonnay, Malvasia Istriana(Malvazija Istarska), Pinot Bianco(Pinot Blanc), Pinot Grigio(Pinot Gris), Sauvignon(Sauvignon Blanc), Friulano (Tai = Sauvignonasse), Traminer Aromatico(Gewürztraminer) and Verduzzo Friulano.

The red wines are Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso. The Bianco, Rosso and Rosato wine types are produced using one or more authorised varieties. The spumante (tank fermentation) is blended from Chardonnay and/or Pinot Bianco. A Frizzante is available from the Rosato, Chardonnay, Malvasia, Pinot Bianco and Verduzzo Friulano wine types. A Riserva with a longer aging period are available from Rosso, Cabernet, Cabernet Franc, Cabernt Sauvignon, Merlot and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso.
