The estate is located in the municipality of Senheim (Burg Cochem area) in the German wine-growing region Moselle
, It was founded in 2001 by Stefanie Vornhecke, who also works as a cellar master. Two apartments are connected. The vineyards cover two hectares of vines mainly in the individual layers Lay and fortune teller (Senheim), which are planted with Riesling and Pinot Noir. Quality criteria in the vineyard are low yields and a late and selective hand picking of the grapes. The wines are aged with long lees with the aim of longevity. The product range includes various Rieslings from dry to sweet, in the lines "gray slate" (estate Rieslings in different flavors), predicate and site wines (Kabinett, late harvest, selection), as well as "great moments for wine connoisseurs" (different constellation names such as Cassiopeia) are vinified. Furthermore, a dry red wine, bottle-fermented sparkling wine and a Riesling pomace brandy are also produced. Around 10,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
