The white grape variety is a new breed between Furmint x Trebbiano; the name results from the two parent varieties. Synonyms are Dalmasso 2-32 and Incrocio Dalmasso II / 32. The crossing took place in 1936 in Italy in the research institute Conegliano by the breeder Giovanni Dalmasso (1886-1974). The late-ripening vine is in Veneto grown. In 2010, nine hectares of vineyards were reported (Kym Anderson ).
