The white grape variety is a new breed between Furmint x Trebbiano; the name comes from the two parent varieties. Synonyms are Dalmasso 2-32 and Incrocio Dalmasso II/32, crossed in 1936 in Italy at the Conegliano Research Station by the breeder Giovanni Dalmasso (1886-1974). The late ripening vine is cultivated in Veneto. In 2016, two hectares of vineyards were designated (statistics Kym Anderson).
