The red grape variety is an interspecific new breed between ( Othello x rupestris) x Noah, Synonyms are Noa and Noah Noir. They are genes from Vitis labrusca. Vitis riparia. Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid was done in France in 1885 by the private breeder Fernand Gaillard. The variety was a cross partner in the three new varieties Chancellor. chelois and Soleil Blanc, In 2010, a tiny inventory in the Meurthe-et-Moselle ( Lorraine ) shown (Kym Anderson ).
