The wine critic
Antonio Galloni was born in Caracas (Venezuela), where his parents ran a food and wine trade and later moved to Florida (USA). He studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, founded a rock band, studied at the MIT Sloan School of Business in Cambridge and started to write about wine at that time. He worked full-time in marketing. At the turn of the millennium he went to Italy, where in 2004 he published the “Piedmont Report”, the first English-language magazine on Italian wine.
This brought him into contact with the US wine critic Robert M. Parker
, This hired him for his tasting team in the "Wine Advocate", where he spent different times from 2006 to 2013 for the evaluation of the wines Italy

In November 2014, the US wine critic Stephen Dancer
