The white grape comes from Spain, Synonyms are Charrido Fino, Garrido, Garrido Fino de Villanueva, Garrio Fino and Palomino Garrio. She was crossing partner of the new breeds Caballete and Monja, The medium to late ripening vine is prone to Botrytis and both mildews, It produces neutral white wines with fresh acidity and moderate alcohol content. The species is in the southwestern Andalusia in the area Condado de Huelva cultivated and mostly in blending with the variety Zalema used in sweet wines. In 2010, 59 hectares of vineyards were reported with decreasing trend (ten years earlier, there were still 174 hectares).
