The winery is located in the municipality of Gösing am Wagram in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Wagram. The roots of the family go back to the year 1750. In 1970, the then mixed farm was taken over by Roman and Helga Gerhold and converted to pure viticulture. Today the farm is run by Rainer Gerhold. The vineyards cover 11.5 hectares in the Fumberg, Mittersteig, Reich and Zeisleiten vineyards. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Roter Veltliner, Riesling, Grüner Sylvaner and Weißburgunder, as well as the red wine varieties Zweigelt, St. Laurent and Syrah. The vineyards are cultivated in an environmentally friendly and natural way. The premium wines include Roter Veltliner Reich, Grüner Veltliner Fumberg, Grüner Veltliner Mittersteig, Pinot Blanc Mittersteig, Riesling Fumberg and the red wine cuvée "Cherub".
