The estate is located in the Trier district Olewig (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region Moselle
, A wine bar is connected. The company is run by Albert and Marianne Oberbillig in the fifth generation of the family. After studying in Geisenheim
Son Sebastian is responsible for the cellar. The vineyards cover nine hectares of vineyards in the layers Burgberg, the eponymous Deutschherrenberg, Deutschherrenköpfchen and Jesuitenwingert (Trier). They are mainly planted with the Riesling, as well as the varieties Pinot Blanc, Rivaner and Pinot Noir. The vineyards are strictly following the rules of integrated viticulture
farmed. This is completely on insecticides
and copper supplements, as well as largely on herbicides
waived. The aim is as natural as possible wines, which are partly fermented spontaneously, partly with pure breeding yeasts. The few wooden barrels remain the Burgundy wines reserved, the expansion of the Rieslings is exclusively in stainless steel. In appropriate years, an ice wine is also pressed. Bottle-fermented sects, brandies (wine, pomace, mirabelle, Williams) and liqueurs (peach) are also produced.
