The winery is located in the municipality of Hatzenport (Burg Cochem area) in the German wine-growing region of Mosel. A guest house is attached. The farm is run by Albrecht and Maria Gietzen. The vineyards cover two hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Burg Bischofstein, Kirchberg and Stolzenberg (Hatzenport). They are planted with the grape varieties Riesling (85%), Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir. The quality criteria are selective, late harvesting, gentle pressing, vinification in layers and careful ageing of the wines in the cellar with slow fermentation and long storage on the fine lees. For the dry and semi-dry wines, the use of the predicate designations is dispensed with. For the fruit-sweet and noble-sweet wines, the predicates from Spätlese upwards are used. The best wines are marked with a gold capsule. The winery is a member of the initiative "Urlaub auf Winzer- und Bauernhöfen" (Holidays on Winemakers' and Farms' Farms) as well as the working group "Köche und Winzer an der Terrassenmosel" (Chefs and Winemakers on the Terrace Mosel)
