Giosana

The white grape variety originates from Italy. Synonyms are Guisana, Iusana, Malvasia Acino Piccolo and Malvasia ad Acino Piccolo. The parentage of this probably very old variety is unknown. The early-maturing vine is resistant to both types of powdery mildew. The variety is cultivated in the Basilicata region, among others. However, no stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
