The red grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Ontario x Russian Seedless (Kishmish Chernyi), which was confirmed according to DNA analyses carried out in 2008. Synonyms or breeding numbers are New York 35814 and Glenora Seedless. Genes from Vitis labrusca and Vitis vinifera are present. The hybrid was crossed in the USA. It is mainly used as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
