The winery is located in the municipality of Zitsa in the Greek region of Epirus. It was founded in 1993 by Lefteris Glinavos. Today it is managed by his son Thomas Glivanos. The vineyards are planted with the autochthonous white wine varieties Debina, Malagousia and Roditis, the red wine varieties Agiorgitiko, Bekari and Vlachiko, and the international varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Red, rosé and white wines POP Zitsa (quality wines) and Topikos Oinos (country wines) are produced as well as a Tsipouro (marc spirit).
There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
