Globalwine

The Swiss company Globalwine AG, based in Zurich, was founded in 1998 by Daniel Caro. It specializes in the import of wines, especially top wines from Spain and Portugal, to northern Switzerland. Thanks to an extensive international wine network with contacts to wine producers, private collectors, restorers, international dealers and auction houses, an extensive portfolio of wine rarities can be offered. Before being included in the range, the wines are carefully examined and tasted again and again. As a second main pillar, competent wine consulting up to viticulture consulting is offered. Wineries in Argentina, Italy, Spain and Switzerland are serviced. In 2009, Hawesko Holding AG acquired a majority stake in the company.
