The white grape variety is a complex interspecific new breeding between Seibel 867 (Seibel 2003 = Vivarais x Noah) x Seibel 452(Alicante Ganzin x Seibel 1). Synonyms are Beli Francur, Beli Francuz, Iber Francia, La Gloire de Seibel, Orosz Kisvarsany and Seibel 5409, with genes from Vitis aestivalis, Vitis cinerea, Vitis labrusca, Vitis lincecumii, Vitis riparia, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed by the breeder Albert Seibel (1844-1936). She was a crossing partner of the new Cascade breed. The frost hardy vine is resistant to fungal diseases. In 2016 no stocks were recorded (statistics Kym Anderson).
