The winery is located in Stammersdorf (part of Vienna's 21st district Floridsdorf) in the northwest of the Austrian capital Wien. Hans Peter Göbel, an architect by training, took over his father's winery after his death in the mid-1990s. Attached to the winery is a wine tavern with an ambience more akin to a trendy pub. The vineyards cover three hectares on the Bisamberg in the Gabrissen, In den Breiten, In den leeren Beuteln and Jungenberg vineyards. They are 60% planted with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon and Blauburger, and 40% with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Riesling. The white wines are matured in stainless steel after chilled fermentation. The grapes for the red wines are selected and crushed by hand, usually in several passes. After fermentation in closed mash tanks, they are aged in barriques for 12 to 15 months. Premium wines are Grüner Veltliner, Zweigelt Alte Reben from a site that has remained unchanged since 1956 and the red wine cuvée Berg (Zweigelt, CS).
