The white grape variety is an interspecific new cross between Cynthiana (Norton) x Martha. The hybrid was crossed in 1883 in the USA by the botanist Thomas Volney Munson (1843-1913). It is used as a winepress and table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
