Goldenits Richard

The estate is located in the municipality of Tadten in the Burgenland wine-growing region Lake Neusiedl (Austria). The ancestors laid the foundation stone in 1899 with a new cellar, which mainly produced wine for their own use. The descendants Susanne and Paul Goldenits continued the mixed agricultural business at that time, and Edeltraud and Richard Goldenits only converted to viticulture. Since 2001, the fourth generation of the estate has been managed by Ing. Richard and Anita Goldenits. The vineyards cover 12 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Hutweide-Winkel, Oberzick and Unterjoch. They are each 50% planted with the red varieties Blaufränkisch , Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Zweigelt and Syrah, as well as the white varieties Chardonnay, Welschriesling and seedling. Grapes are purchased from three hectares.

The vineyards have been organically farmed since 2007 and the processing has been rebuilt according to the latest findings. The musts are fermented in stainless steel tanks. The white wines are mostly matured in stainless steel tanks, the red wines in large wooden barrels and partly in barriques. The premium wines are the red wine cuvées "Best of" (all five red varieties) and "Zweifränkisch" ( Blaufränkisch , Zweigelt), Blauer Zweigelt 3 oaks and Chardonnay Neue Welt. Sweet predicate wines are also produced. Around 60,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. It will be too measuring wines, Sparkling wines, brandies, grape juices and liqueurs. The winery is a member of the two winegrowers' associations Pannonian dance and Vinology.
