The winery is located in the municipality of Burgen (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region of Mosel. The winery is run by Jörg Müller and Christa Gorges-Müller. The vineyards are two-thirds steep slopes and cover ten hectares of vineyards in the single vineyard sites Hasenläufer (Burgen), Kirchberg (Veldenz) and Großer Herrgott (Wintrich). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Kerner, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Blanc, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder and Regent. Environmentally friendly viticulture is consistently practised. In years with suitable weather conditions, Trockenbeerenauslese and ice wines are also pressed. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, grape juice, noble brandies (marc, fruit) and liqueurs are also produced.
